Please join us for our June general meeting at 7 pm, followed by a presentation from Kalamazoo's Lucinda Hindsdale Stone Chapter DAR. Members and guests alike are always welcome!
 
This event is hybrid: at the Portage District Library and on Zoom. Socializing, refreshments, and an annual "Genealogy Swap" beginning at 6:15 pm at the library. Register in advance if you plan to attend the 7 pm general meeting via Zoom.
 
With that, we invite you to participate in our annual "Genealogy Materials Swap" at the library. This is a perfect opportunity to trade the research materials you are finished with for fresh, new-to-you resources. (You do not need to bring items to take items home - all are welcome to browse!)
 
KVGS members can expect to receive a meeting reminder email and Zoom link a few days before the meeting.  Zoom visitors, please email us at info@mikvgs.org for the registration link.

The research trip to Washington, DC will be Sept 13 - 19, 2026.  Join us!
 
Topics to be covered include housing, meals, research at the National Archives, the DAR Library and the Library of Congress - and any other topics attendees would like to know about.
 
Join other genealogists for five days of research in the nation's capital the week of September 13 - 19, 2026 – and bring along your non-genealogical friends who would like to tour DC and the area!  Click on RESEARCH TRIPS in the left-side navigation panel for details. The trip is open to anyone who wants to join!
